Mexican police in Sinaloa reportedly have arrested a third suspect wanted by the FBI in the 2010 murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (State Police) – State Police seized 26 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop in Sturbridge.

Trooper Todd Nolan told 22News the suspect, 23-year-old Jiarui Liu of Brooklyn, was charged with possession with intent to distribute, a license plate violation and failure to signal.

According to the State Police Facebook page, Wednesday morning, just before 2:00 a.m., Trooper Robert Ryan of the State Police Sturbridge Barracks, requested assistance from K-9 for a search on I-84 in Sturbridge.

Ireland – Over €100,000 worth of drugs have been seized by Gardaí in Cork city.

At around 4.30pm members from the Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Garda Dog Unit, searched a house on Model Farm Road as part of an ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of controlled drugs in Cork City.

State and federal police have seized more than $250,000 worth of drugs in Tasmania as part of a large-scale operation to bust an alleged drug trafficking syndicate.

Drug dog teams, armed police officers and 180 members of the drug squad searched 12 properties across Hobart and Devonport this week.

The operation has also seen 16 firearms and a one metre-long freshwater crocodile seized by police.

Police allege traffickers have been involved in the sale of over $300,000 worth of drugs in the past eight months.

An investigation into an international drug ring culminated in 54 arrests, law enforcement officials announced in Rochester on Monday.

Eight people from Rochester are charged with consipiracy to import and sell methylone, U.S. Attorney William Hochul said at a news conference. Arrests also came in Canada, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Britain, Ireland and Kazakhstan.

Methylone is also known as Molly, the drug involved in a fatal overdose of a Rochester man at a New York City music festival recently. More than 74 kilograms [...]

Washington (CNN) — The FBI says authorities have identified the dead suspect in Monday’s shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard as Aaron Alexis, 34, a military contractor from Texas.

The suspect was positively identified using fingerprints and ID, the Washington FBI Field Office said.

A military contractor ID removed from the suspect’s body matched the appearance of the dead man, a law enforcement source said.

STOCKTON – Authorities apprehended a federal fugitive who was bitten by a police dog Saturday following a brief struggle on a south Stockton street, police said.

Members of a U.S. Marshals Service task force spotted Ruben Vargas, 27, traveling south on Interstate 5 about 5:45 p.m., authorities said. Vargas was wanted for a federal narcotics warrant and a state parole warrant, police said.
